Jennifer Corlett

Jennifer has been practicing professionally in both England and California since 2014. She is passionate about context-driven design that reinvigorates public space, responds to site, understands local ecology, and fosters a distinct sense of place. Her project experience includes a diverse selection of complex urban and mixed-used developments, parks, streetscapes, roof gardens, and riverside flood alleviation. Prior to joining PWP, Jennifer worked with LDA Design, a leading landscape architecture and urban design practice in London. Jennifer earned a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where she was awarded a 2013 Penny White Project Award and the 2014 Baldwin Fellowship. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. She worked in the environmental nonprofit sector for four years prior to graduate school. Jennifer's international experience and dedication to global environmental and social issues remain key influences in her approach to landscape architecture. 

Ariel C. Dungca

Ariel is a licensed landscape architect with a decade of experience. With prior tenure at firms in the East Coast and the Bay Area, he has continued to build on his expertise and experience in thoughtfully designing and building a diverse range of project types with a focus on crafting places that are culturally, ecologically, and materially contextualized. Passionate about mentorship with students and junior design staff, Ariel was a regular visiting critic and lecturer on professional practice at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a studio instructor at Boston Architectural College and active involvement in various firm initiatives. While studying at UMass Amherst, he received the first Rhizotron Award given to a student for innovative design and excellence.

Jane Gillette

Jane keeps an archive of National 9/11 Memorial items and edits whatever comes across her desk. She received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Vassar College and a doctorate in English Literature from Yale University. She writes short stories and teaches a graduate class in the Theory of Landscape Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley.

Bootsie Kim

Bootsie is PWP's official office dog. She has over 5 years of experience sitting, rolling over, and napping, both in the US and South Korea. Bootsie is particularly interested in the intersection of food and the floor and lectures reguarly both in and out of the office. 

Na Ra Park

Na Ra is a landscape designer with more than 8 years’ experience working domestically and around the world on public parks, urban plazas, and mixed-use retail developments. She appreciates the whole spectrum of the design process from idea sketching to construction administration. Na Ra’s prior training in sculpture and painting has given her deep knowledge of materials and an enthusiasm for details. Her recent interest in environmental psychology inspires her focus on the social aspects of urban environments. Her background and interest have been integral in her approach to landscape architecture both in practice and research. Prior to joining PWP, Na Ra worked with SWA Group and BrightView Design Group. She has taught a design studio at University at Buffalo and University of Southern California.

Seth Rodewald-Bates

Seth is a licensed landscape architect with more than ten years of experience. He is equally adept at overseeing construction as he is resolving intricate design problems. Seth has worked on numerous campus, waterfront, urban, and mixed-used projects. His passion for minimalist design brought him to work at the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, TX, a contemporary arts museum founded by Donald Judd. Seth received a B.S. in Horticulture, magna cum laude, from Stephen F. Austin State University and a M.L.A. from the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture at Louisiana State University. He has taught previously at Stephen F. Austin State University, Boston Architectural College, Louisiana State University, and Tulane University.

Amelia Starr

Amelia facilitates interactions between guests and members of staff and handles communications with vendors. She coordinates efforts related to marketing and business development, maintains the general upkeep of daily office functionality, and assists with the organization and execution of office events. The PWP staff often and happily benefit from Amelia’s love of baking and planning theme parties. She acquired her Bachelor of Arts in History with Honors from the University of Michigan. 

Reid Steiner

Reid Steiner is the IT manager at PWP. He’s been employed in varied industries throughout the Bay Area for 20 years. He focuses on facilitating productivity levels and data management. In his capacity at PWP, he is able to work closely with all team members to quickly resolve issues while strategizing for further technological advancement.
